28.10.2010 CPC prepares for SEMA trade show 2010 in Las VagasSEMA is the largest automotive products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. As part of the AAIW, the SEMA Show attracts more than 100,000 industry leaders from more than 100 countries for unlimited profit opportunities in the automotive, truck and SUV, and RV markets. SEMA Show 2009 drew more than 50,000 domestic and international buyers. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 1,500 newly introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and CPC are really looking forward to attending, learning and signing some exclusive deals, not to mention absorb the Vegas atmosphere! 07.09.2010 CPC travels to Miami, USA to meet with ADV1 Wheels and be appointed Official Australia DealerUpon collecting feedback from our customers and listening to their vehicle needs, it became apparent that our clients were looking for us to explore a new and exciting wheel product. CPC then ventured into extensive global research for a unique wheel product. Upon months of research, talking to suppliers, customers, CPC made contact with ADV1 Wheels in the US to explore becoming one of their dealers.
The CPC team made the effort to fly to Miami Beach to meet the ADV1 design & sales team in person. If that wasn’t enough the team then decided to seek the ADV1 production facility located in Garden Grove California. CPC took the guided tour of the facility taking a full understanding on how the wheels are manufactured & the quality of the machinery used. CPC had the opportunity to meet the engineers for ADV1 to then run through the engineering process for the wheels. This has given CPC the edge in creating the ADV1 wheels solution for their clients and we stand proud to be aligned & be appointed as official Australian dealer.
Not only was the Miami trip a successful one from a business perspective, but those Miami boys sure know how to party……..yeah!

17.08.2010 2010 Hot Tuner Challenge This is the 2nd year that CPC gets an invite to participate in Motor Magazine’s hot tuner Challenge in conjunction with Castrol Edge. This year we entered 2 cars; Mercedes C63 AMG and the newly imported VW Sirocco (first in Australia!). We had a great result for the C63 which won in the $75-$150K division and we were also able to successfully showcase the potential of the Sirocco in the modified marketplace and gained loads of interest from clients in importing it into Australia. Overall, it was a great event and allowed CPC to demonstrate our proven capability as a long-term, well respected and trusted performance partner and also the commitment we have towards the industry. 10.08.2010 CPC travels to LA, USA to meet with Evosport and is appointed the Official Australian Importer/DealeAfter years of past dealing the CPC team make a trip to Huntington Beach, California, USA to meet the guys at Evosport face to face. It was a successful trip as the two companies collaborated to announce CPC as official Australian & New Zealand Importer & distributor. CPC looks forward to a long lasting & exciting partnership with Evosport.

03.08.2010 Extremely Successful Driver Training/Track Day at Eastern CreekWhat a better way to spend the Bank Holiday than to take your prized possession to Eastern Creek and be trained to drive it/race it by a couple of pro car racing drivers! That’s exactly what CPC organized for 20 if its clients on Mon 2nd August. The purpose of the track day was to allow our clients the opportunity to drive their own cars in a controlled and safe environment and learn all of the techniques required for race track driving. CPC invited 2 world class professional racing car drivers/instructors; Barton Mawer and Warren Luff who were an absolute hit. It was an extremely successful and enjoyable day for our clients and we received overwhelming interest for holding more track days. Stay tuned for the next track.

14.07.2010 Motec Staff Training in Melbourne/KnockboxCPC organized for its staff members to attend a Knock training seminar held at the Motec head office in Melbourne. The staff members had the opportunity to be taught in the classroom but also then be trained in real time on an engine dyno. This has provided the team with the knowledge required to work on knock control programs & files.

23.06.2010 CPC appointed as official Importer/dealer for RenntechCPC has had a long and successful relationship with Renntech. The CPC team whilst on the last trip to the US took the opportunity to meet with Hurtmut, President of Renntech & discuss future possibilities working together. It was a successful meeting and resulted in CPC being appointed as the Official Importer/Dealer for Renntech for Australia. 17.05.2010 Launch of Scuderia Imports – Sister Company to City Performance CentreOn Saturday 15th May, we hosted the launch of Scuderia Imports, sister company to City Performance Centre. Scuderia Imports offers a range of services including; sourcing, importing, complying, servicing and sales of prestige vehicles. We showcased the 4 cylinder VW Sirocco and were able to demonstrate its competitiveness directly against other Australian delivered models such as VW Golf R and the Audi S3 amongst others. Sirocco’s technologically advanced front differential virtually eliminates the known steer syndromes and that’s what makes it such a star in the imported car market. This Sirocco is the first to be brought into Australia and is already getting lots of attention and interest. We had over 50 people attend over lunch and drinks and it was a great day enjoyed by all. 13.10.2009 Kubatech comes to Sydney for ECU tuning trainingCPC in conjunction with Evolve organized their German based tuner ‘extrodinare’ to fly over from Germany & provide invaluable one on one training in OEM manufacturer ecu tuning & file interrogation. CPC received extensive training on how to use all the correct tools & equipment for a superior tune. Whilst visiting, the tuning technician carried out over 45 tunes over the space of a few days with the help of the CPC team who were more than happy to put their training into good use. It was a great opportunity for the CPC team to get first hand training and gain knowledge that would not have been possible had the tuner not agreed to come out to see us. And of course, its not a trip to Sydney without showing the boys a bit of night life…….lets just say we showed them a good time! CPC looks forward to their next trip & further learning on the newest model vehicle.

31.08.2009 Motor Magazine Chooses CPC TunersMotor Magazine has approached CPC to submit two of their tuned vehicles to be used in an up coming editorial titled 'Hot Tuner Shoot Out'. The dona CPC tuned VW R32 Golf Turbo and Nissan GTR were both used by Motor Magazine in tests at Eastern Creek Raceway in competition with other shops. 13.08.2009 Motec PDM Training Day onsite at CPCCPC was selected by Motec in Melbourne to help conduct an official PDM training seminar hosted by an official Motec engineer. This was maninly due to CPC’s commitment to learning and development of the Motec product and ensuring that we are always ahead of the technological product advancements. CPC set up its show room into a training facility and took great pride in helping to organise & ensure the smooth running of the seminar. CPC staff also took part in the training and gained valuable knowledge on Motec Engine Management systems. It was an extremely insightful day of learning and discussing the Motec product.

18.11.2008 FRD Motorsports employs CPC for Asian GT Championship 07/08FRD Motorsport team based in Zhuhai employs the services of the CPC team to prepare and support their Ferrari 360 Challenge race cars in the Asian GT Championship. This has travelled the teams expertise to race circuits in both Malaysia and China contributing to the success of the FRD Motorsport team.
Heres the results: Qualification: Pole. Race 1: 1st and 2nd places. Race 2: 1st and 3rd places. Overall: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
