The large, 50mm strut body was made to decrease these sorts of impacts as well. Allowing room for a larger_than_usual oil capacity and combining that with a low_friction piston design and 35mm independent valves, results in cool oil and consistent damping forces that will not fade. We also use an 18mm hardened chrome piston rod to add strength and durability. The design is rounded out by a powder coated strut body that shields from dust and prevents rust.
