This performance exhaust upgrade replaces the factory downpipe section and features a big-bore 3.5 in U-bend that tapers to an OEM-spec connection for seamless integration with the stock system.
Developed using advanced 3D scanning and reverse engineering, the flow-optimised geometry uses a long 3.5 in OD section with smooth transitions to 3 in, reducing back pressure to promote faster turbo spool and sharper throttle response. Optional OEM-style heat shielding cuts radiant exhaust heat by up to 80% to help control under-bonnet temperatures, support turbocharger longevity, and enhance reliability, while the improved flow adds a richer, more engaging exhaust tone.
Built for durability and fitment accuracy, every Redstar downpipe is 100% TIG welded and back purged, produced from 2.0 mm wall 304 stainless steel, and finished with OEM-spec flanges and mounting provisions. The result is a true bolt-on performance exhaust upgrade from Redstar that delivers real-world gains and a precision fit for Mercedes E53, E450, CLS53, CLS450, GT43, GT53, GT50, GLE53, GLS450, GLE450, and S-Class applications.
