Precision engineering and design have produced an exhaust that delivers a unique sound from its full high-grade titanium construction. Special collectors inside both mufflers eliminate streaming noise, and inner cones act as acoustic reflectors and partially direct sound from the bumper-mounted tailpipes forward toward the cabin. Sound is linearized through the rev range and engine load, providing a smooth tone at cruising speeds, and as the revs rise the sound becomes more dramatic and sportier. Sound is controlled with two exhaust valves and by a control kit, which monitor driving parameters and precisely control the opening and closing of the valves to create a distinctive and finely tuned sound.

The exhaust is finished with a pair of twin tailpipes constructed from hand-crafted carbon-fibre outer sleeves and high-grade titanium inner sleeves, and the use of lightweight race-proven materials has reduced the weight by 26.5 % (3.6 kg) over the standard stock system. Performance has been enhanced with a power increase of 6.3 kW (8.6 hp) at 6,650 rpm and a torque gain of 13.5 Nm at 2,650 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC with a standard stock exhaust. This product is ECE type approved. The plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available, as well as an optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (SS) for owners looking for an enhanced acoustic experience and greater performance from the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust.

The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.

With the Slip-On please choose one of additional mandatory products: Link Pipe set L-ME/T/12 or Evolution Link Pipe Set E-ME/SS/2.

With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (SS) E-ME/SS/2 and Akrapovič Sound Kit, ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.

The Link Pipe Set (Titanium) L-ME/T/10 is a mandatory product to the Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-ME/T/18H.

This product is designed as a further enhancement for the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust. This option has been developed for use on closed-course competition circuits. Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, its dual tube design minimizes gas flow resistance, and a special resonator eliminates unwanted drone. When combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, power is increased by 7.3 kW (10.0 hp) at 6,800 rpm, with a torque rise of 12.6 Nm at 3,300 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC with a standard stock exhaust, and weight is reduced by 25.1 % (3.4 kg) against the standard stock set-up. Installation is plug and play, with no remapping needed. The sound is a comfortable tone at cruising speeds, rising to a sharper and dynamic sound at higher revs, with precision pops and bangs coming from the tailpipes through gear changes during acceleration.

With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (SS), ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.

Designed as a further enhancement for the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, its dual tube design minimizes gas flow resistance, and a special resonator eliminates unwanted drone. When combined with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust, power is increased by 14.3 kW (19.5 hp) at 4,650 rpm, with a torque rise of 29.4 Nm at 4,600 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE with a standard stock exhaust, and weight is reduced by 6.6 % (0.7 kg) against the standard stock set-up. The sound is a comfortable tone at cruising speeds, rising to a sharper and dynamic sound at higher revs, with precision pops and bangs coming from the tailpipes through gear changes during acceleration.
