This product is designed to increase the performance potential of the Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system. It is constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium. The system is 18.2 kg (63.5%) lighter than the standard stock exhaust. Installation removes the stock OPFs or secondary set of catalytic converters on non-OPF vehicles.

When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium), it offers power and torque gains of 25.8 kW (35.0 hp) and 47.7 Nm, respectively, both at 5,150 rpm, when tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a BMW XM Label with an M exhaust system. A special X-connection Ð cast in the in-house foundry Ð allows gases from both sides of the engine to mix for an enhanced sporty sound. 

_For OPF vehicles remapping the ECU is mandatory to prevent potential check engine light warning signals. For non-OPF vehicles ECU remapping is not needed.

This part has been developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only. With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.
